EXCAVATION OF THE WRECK SITE OF THE EAST INDIAMAN, THE EARL OF ABERGAVENNYWEYMOUTH BAY - 1805COMMANDER: CAPTAIN JOHN WORDSWORTHPROJECT PATRON: THE MOST HONOURABLE THE MARQUESS OF ABERGAVENNYThis web site contains a mere fraction of the material acquired over the past twenty seven years. More will be added but we are severely restricted by the amount of information that it is possible to include on an Internet site like this. This site is a mere 20 megabytes, the web based CD-ROM which is now available is 200 megabytes. The CD currently contains 2000 high quality illustrations (mainly artefacts), 117 web pages and over 4200 hyperlinks. This award winning CD-ROM will be made available to educational & research establishments free. For more information go to the CD-ROM page. All proceeds from the CD support the excavation and recording of the wreck site. To reduce the download time the illustrations are shown as thumbnails. Click to open the thumbnail of interest and use your browser's BACK button to return to the page. If you are using Internet Explorer 7 the drawing may automatically be reduced in size, they may be clearer if you use the 'Restore' option. All photographs are by Ed Cumming unless stated otherwise.
