NON WRECK DIVING SITES

The Weymouth area has a large number of non-wreck diving sites. We have listed these and like the wreck list will refer to publications and references that will give visiting divers all the information they need. Like the wreck information we currently recommend the divers guide 'Dive Dorset' (Third Issue 1999) by John and Vicki Hinchcliffe which is currently up to date and an excellent publication. Our area of interest can be found in Area 2, Chesil, Portland and Weymouth Bay. If we receive any further information on these sites this will be added to the site reference.

SAFETY

Diving off the Isle of Portland, especially around the Bill of Portland can be hazardous. If you can obtain local information, do so. We will assist if we can, just use the Feedback form. The Dive Shops in and around Portland will also help. You will have no problems if you are using the recognized local dive charters.
